PBSA Completes Transaction to Acquire Blockchain Software

APRIL 29, 2019 (DEBERT, NOVA SCOTIA, CANADA) — The Peerplays Blockchain Standards Association (PBSA) has completed the acquisition of a suite of software that will power use cases and growth on the Peerplays blockchain.

The acquisition includes the purchase of 5050Labs/Sweeps, Bitcoin sidechain, and eXeChain software from eXeBlock Technology Corporation as part of a previously announced deal which received approval from eXeBlock shareholders earlier this month.

The transaction also terminates a development agreement wherein eXeBlock would produce four DApps (decentralized applications) for PBSA over the course of two years, and payment for same, which was to be procured with PPY tokens.

With the transaction complete, PBSA is now free to move forward with new opportunities.

“We look forward to pursuing the tremendous revenue potential that this software possesses,” said Jonathan Baha’i, President of PBSA. “A number of organizations in both for-profit and non-profit settings have already contacted us with great interest in our new and existing offerings, and we’re excited to now be in a position to provide even more world class blockchain solutions.”

In addition to the aforementioned products, PBSA is also readying to release BookiePro, a play-for-fun sports betting exchange that runs on the Peerplays blockchain. Most recently, it has been exploring blockchain solutions for the fast-growing esports and video game live streaming industries.
