Job description

  • Detailed understanding of business strategy (Usage, attitude, barriers, and behaviour of consumers) to devise brand building and driving marketing plans
  • Engage people and internal stakeholders about the program to increase adoption.
  • Plan and design methods to drive users to new platforms
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of program and pilots. Develop solutions to improve performance or processes.
  • Define KPIs for the activities, report on metrics and analyze data for program and pilots.
  • Support the program’s adoption, change management and communications initiatives.
  • Enable marketing automation processes wherever possible
  • Be accountable for all content marketing initiatives to drive traffic, engagement, leads, that deliver engaged community members, sales, and customer retention.
  • Collaborates across functions and silos to deliver an effective content marketing strategy and editorial plan to meet the business objectives at the lowest possible cost
  • Create the content our audience is looking for and then to optimize the path to conversion
  • Manage SEO updates, maintenance and optimization of web pages and improve site’s Google ranking by conducting SEO audits
  • Development of editorial governance so content is consistent with our brand voice, style and tone.
  • Editorial calendar and organization workflows must be developed and managed.
  • Channel management of digital content hubs and all supporting social channels including email / newsletter distribution.
  • Management of all creative resources including designers, writers, and other agency personnel or contractors
  • Prepare presentations on program approaches and results ongoing to share with other team members on a weekly basis
  • Content strategy and execution management across all channels of growth chosen, such as Ad campaign collateral, Email Marketing, Social Media Content, Website & Conversion Landing Pages, Funnel pages, Video & Story scripts, PR publishing, long form articles, etc.

Job requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with creating & curating content for marketing campaigns, preferably while working with a Social Media Marketing Agency
  • Knowing the ingredients that take content from ‘fluff’ to ‘awesome sauce’ like the back of your hand.
  • Understanding the intricacies of high-conversion content without needing to take a hard-sell/blatantly direct response approach
  • Experience with leading & managing a content creation team, from content inters to copywriters and visual designers, to achieve desired results with content to meet the specific needs of the content campaign
  • Firsthand experience with creating all sorts of content listed above (in the ‘Responsibility’ section)
  • Past experience as a content & copywriter
  • Storytelling and impeccable language are your superpowers
  • Experience with planning communications across multiple brand touch points and extracting the necessary collateral from the team accordingly
  • Editorial requirements include basic SEO understanding, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement.
